Mr Hubert Duh, Chairman of Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd commented on behalf of the organisers: “We are pleased to have secured these new dates for SIAF and Asiamold after consultation with our partners in the industry. As they do, we also believe it’s important we begin to look forward for opportunities to help the industry recover. Through SIAF Guangzhou and Asiamold, we are dedicated to providing an effective platform to help the industrial automation technology and mould & die sectors achieve this.” Mr Duh continued: “We will of course be doing everything we can to provide a safe environment at the fairground for all participants. We will announce measures that will be in place to ensure this in due course.”
Dates for 2021 edition also confirmed
It was also announced today that the 2021 editions of SIAF Guangzhou and Asiamold will be held from 3 – 5 March. “The 2020 fairs will be somewhat special editions as they occur later in the year, but we want them to be an opportunity for the industry to benefit from the expected rebound, while helping manufacturing supply chains quickly return to normal. For 2021, the schedule will be back to the status quo, and the fairs will continue to serve both existing and future needs of the industry,” Mr Duh also added.
To help exhibitors during this unprecedented time, the 2020 fairs will not only deepen the use of existing promotional tools, but also provide additional marketing services. This includes enhanced online exhibitor search functions and business matching, exhibitor videos, webinars and more.
