27 Feb 2026

SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou opens next week, from 4 – 6 March 2026, in Hall B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Highlights of the 2026 edition include two dedicated showcase zones, the Intelligence Innovation Zone and the Start-up Zone, accompanied by a 13-session fringe programme featuring new events across AI large-scale models, digital twins, industrial cybersecurity, and embodied intelligence. Through application-driven demonstrations and expert-led discussions, the exhibition will serve as a platform for showcasing innovation, facilitating technical exchange and enabling business matching in support of the region's digital and intelligent transformation.

Together with co-located exhibitions Guangzhou Industrial Technology, showcasing industrial robotics, components and intelligent equipment, and Asiamold Select – Guangzhou, highlighting the mould making, stamping, die casting and additive manufacturing supply chain, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou is one of three concurrent events collectively hosting over 420 exhibitors across halls 9.2, 10.2 and 11.2. As part of this platform, the fair has attracted leading companies from China, Eastern Europe, Germany, South Korea, the United States and beyond.

Exhibitor highlights include AKUSENSE, Autonics Electronic, Baumer, Binder, CloudPhys, Cognex, Controlway, Easun, Festo, Gaocheng, GSK CNC, HANBERT, Hongrun, Jiaerling, Leetop, Lenze, Lingxiang Meglev, MARVTECH, MATRIBOX, MISUMI, Mouser Electronics, Novanta/ATI Industrial Automation, Odot, SENPUM, SIGNAL, Sipeize, SNS, Sygole, TAU Tracker and Turck. Their showcases will span advanced sensing technology, drive systems and components, control technology, connectivity solutions, industrial robotics and integrated automation systems.

Special zones and pavilions to support industry innovators
As a key member of the global SPS brand, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou draws on the Greater Bay Area's standing as a major manufacturing hub to offer specialised zones tailored to a diverse range of business requirements, from established international brands to emerging local enterprises.

Among these, the Intelligent Innovation Zone offers global technology brands a cost-effective, high-impact alternative to standard booths. Participating companies benefit from dedicated exhibition space to showcase their products, in addition to a speaking slot at the Intelligent Innovation Stage, allowing them to engage industry professionals across South China’s manufacturing sector. Following the zone's success in 2025, the 2026 edition welcomes Cognex, Lenze, Turck, Baumer, Festo and Novanta/ATI Industrial Automation.

Meanwhile, the Start-up Zone is designed to support young manufacturing enterprises, giving them a credible foothold in the market. The zone links these companies with the capital, technical expertise and talent necessary for business growth. Leveraging the global SPS network, participants build credibility and integrate into the international smart manufacturing ecosystem, while the exhibition's reach opens pathways for cross-border trade, introducing Chinese innovation to a wider international audience. 2026 participants include MATRIBOX and Saint Korea.

Alongside these zones, the exhibition will continue to present the International Pavilion which features overseas brands including Easun, Wachendorff and TAU Tracker, reflecting the exhibition's reach across international market.

Expanded fringe programme to tackle the industry’s most pressing topics
In addition, the event's 2026 fringe programme has been upgraded to reflect the latest industry trends across a wide range of application fields. The 13 forums span industrial AI, digital twins, industrial cybersecurity, embodied intelligence and more, with sessions targeted at automotive manufacturing, smart wearables, robotics, food and beverage and 3C electronics.

The main forum, the "Digital and Intelligent Transformation in Manufacturing Summit", brings together specialists and enterprises working across industrial AI, digital twins, industrial cybersecurity, 5G and 6G. Professor Tao Fei, Dean of the International Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences at Beihang University, and Mr Wang Yu, Vice President of the Beijing Academy of AI and the Shanghai Algorithm Innovation Institute, are among the confirmed speakers, joined by representatives from Huawei, Qi-Anxin Technology and others.

Alongside the summit, the “Smart Production Solutions on Smart Wearable Technology”, themed "AI-driven, Wearable Future", examines development opportunities and partnership models in the sector, while “Smart Production Solutions on Automotive Manufacturing” provides a platform for technical dialogue and collaboration for the automotive industry.

Several new events will debut in 2026, further enriching the programme. A highlight is the 2026 Greater Bay Area Industrial Embodied AI Conference, organised in partnership with the China Association for Mechatronics Technology and Application. Featuring a combination of expert presentations and an enterprise forum, the conference brings together speakers including Mr Kai Dong, Director of Science and Technology Division, China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) and Mr Ning Ding, Director, Guangdong Embodied Intelligence Innovation Center. These experts will provide analysis on core technologies and future trends for embodied AI robotics, while the corporate forum focuses on humanoid robot applications, AI data factories, and world model development. The event provides a platform for procurement and manufacturing partnerships across government, industry, and research sectors.

A special session for International Women's Day, "The SHE-POWER in Industry", will celebrate the contributions of women in smart manufacturing and champion diversity across the sector. A forum co-organised with the Hong Kong Productivity Council, titled "AI-Empowered Smart Manufacturing: Shaping the Next Global Industrial Landscape", will help enterprises navigate globalisation and extend the international reach of Chinese smart manufacturing technologies. Other new additions for 2026 include “Smart Production Solutions on Liquid Food” and “Young Talents in Engineering based on the Integration of Industry and Education”.
