Over the past 15 years, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou has built a strong rapport with South China’s manufacturing sector. It is one of the city’s few focused exhibitions for smart manufacturing and automation, and wields significant influence over the region’s wider industrial development. The 2025 event is expected to occupy 70,000 sqm of floor space and attract approximately 900 exhibitors along with more than 70,000 visitors from around the world.
These participants will find a comprehensive selection of products and solutions on display, with product categories including sensors, drive systems and motion controls mechanical infrastructure, control technologies, industrial software and IT, connectivity technology and industrial robotics. Other areas of focus include project integration and services, industrial communications, intelligent equipment and systems integration, human-machine interface devices, factory automation and more.
This year, the exhibition will once again be held alongside a selection of concurrent manufacturing events, providing a broader and more varied platform for exchange and collaboration. Guangzhou Industrial Technology will provide a further showcase of products aimed at the country’s advanced manufacturing industries, while Asiamold Select – Guangzhou will feature products across the moulding, die-casting and 3D printing supply chains. This expanded platform extends the exhibition’s impact to additional industries and supports cooperation across the wider industrial ecosystem, aligning with the Chinese government’s drive to support its high-tech manufacturing industries.
High anticipation evident from early exhibitor sign-ups
The industry has shown significant interest in the show’s upcoming edition. Numerous leading brands have already confirmed their participation, including Autonics, Binder, Bonfiglioli, Coolmay, Datalogic, Defuro, DEGSON, ESPE, Hongrun, Junlian, KNK, Lanbao, Laxei, Marvtech, Para-ent, Senpum, Shijie Intelligent, Sipeize Intelligent, STAR SEIKI, SUPERISYS, Sygole, Tianli Electrical, Tongchuang, Wanjie Electronic, WCON Electronics, WDIR Electric and more.
Government subsidies available for domestic exhibitors:
Following a review of past exhibition results and prevailing industry trends, Shenzhen’s Longhua District, a major manufacturing base within the city, announced in April that local exhibitors at several events across the SPS network would be eligible for official support in 2024. Exhibitors based in Longhua district can apply for subsidies to SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou, its mother show, SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Germany, and SPS Italia.[1]
Domestic exhibitors interested in attending the German show can also apply for additional financial support through the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province’s “Guangdong Trade Global” programme, a major initiative which aims to enhance trade development within the province.[2]
Building a better business network through new partnerships:
To further diversify the event’s offerings, CMEC International Exhibition Co Ltd has been announced as a new co-organiser for SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou and Guangzhou Industrial Technology, following a cooperation agreement signed in May. Combining the expertise of both parties, this partnership aims to bring a wider range of solutions to the event across key areas including industrial automation, fluid power, mechanical transmission and industrial components.
In addition, the exhibition will also partner with the Guangzhou Industrial Robot Manufacturing and Application Industry Alliance to set up a dedicated pavilion for industrial robotics. This pavilion will showcase a variety of industrial robots, software, equipment and parts and integrated systems, and targets advancements in fields such as automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, 3C electronics, home appliances, packaging and printing, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and consumables, lighting engineering, food and beverage, and more.
